Kristen Harris, CPA, currently works for the Washington State Auditor’s Office, Center for Government Innovation, as a financial management specialist. Prior to working for the Center, she worked as an Assistant Audit Manager conducting audits of various local governments for about 16 years.
She also taught as an adjust lecturer for Washington State University; teaching various accounting classes for five years, including governmental and nonprofit accounting. She also currently serves as a public utility district statewide specialist, and is a member of the Financial Audit Committee.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Washington State University.
